First of all, it’s touring season and I’ll be on the road for most of August through October—first in the US with the full 5-piece version of The Baseball Project here in the US. It will be our first tour since 2018 and also the longest series of dates that Peter, Scott, Mike, Linda and I have ever done together. We’ll be out on the road in support of our rocking new album "Grand Salami Time" (Omnivore Recordings) and a pretty wild new video for "Disco Demolition," a song I wrote about a kind of Baseball Armageddon that went down in Chicago back in 1979. Have a look and see for yourself (or just come out to one of the shows and I’ll sing it for you in person).
And then I’ll be heading over to Europe for some solo acoustic shows in Scandinavia, Spain and Greece in October. I’ll be traveling with, signing and playing songs from a couple of brand new releases—"Journeyman," (Blue Rose Records/Down There) a live recording from last May at the Music Star in Norderstedt and the first-ever vinyl release of "Sweetness and Light" (Wouldn’t Waste Records). You’ll be able to order both online but, hey, why not come out and get one at one of the shows if you can.

The Dream Syndicate will be off the road for the rest of the year but it’s been a busy summer nonetheless. Emiel Spoelder’s documentary about the band "How Did We Find Ourselves Here" is now available for streaming and downloading at Amazon (US and UK) and Vimeo (everywhere else). And the 4CD box set time capsule of our first year "history kinda pales when it and you are aligned" (Fire Records) is out as well and is available online and hopefully at your favorite local record store after a couple of rave reviews in Pitchfork and Uncut.
